We were assigned a project for the interior design of a maisonette – 105 m2 (without the balconies).
The challenge was to build a functional and comfortable interior, including all the necessary areas for the comfortable life of a family with two children aged 10 and 13. As far as the style it is concerned, the requirement from the owner was that it should be modern, have boxes in the furniture and wooden slats for partitions.
On the first floor there is a kitchen, a living room with a dining room, a toilet under the stairs and, of course, an entrance hall. Climbing the stairs, covered with parquet, you reach the second floor, where there is a corridor, a children’s room, a bedroom, a bathroom with a toilet and a closet. Since the floor area of the bathroom was small, we placed furniture along the entire wall of the corridor, aligning its front edge with the door of the bathroom, which allowed the expansion of the bathroom, and thus we gained additional space there.
